 GNX Wind features a backlit monochrome LCD screen made of bonded glass. You can even change the color of the backlight. This means the data remains readable from all angles, even from a distance. The background color can be customized so that the data is always clear, whatever the light conditions. It interfaces with the NMEA 2000 network to display two data fields and a digital wind rose along with apparent wind and true wind data, heading hold, boat speed, and more. The auto-scroll feature scrolls through data screens without you needing to touch your device. The low power consumption of 350 mW in daylight (without backlight), and 400 mW at night (with the backlight set to a medium setting), is particularly suitable for use on board a sailboat. Customizable elements include over 15 important marine parameters relating to wind, speed and navigation.
